Do Something New
Have you ever heard the saying, “If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.” It does not take a rocket scientist to state the most obvious. When you look at your life and feel like it is going in circles, and you try to get ahead, but for some reason you end up exactly where you started, it is probably because you are going in circles. That would discourage anyone. It is like holding a cat by its tail as she tries diligently to get away but she cannot, because you have such a strong grip. After a while that can become very discouraging.
It is insane to keep doing the same thing repeatedly the same way, hoping to get different results.
“You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though EVERYBODY is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in.”
You should always leave yourself room for error, leave room to make adjustments as needed, and leave room for improvement.
It’s been said that hind sight is 20/20 vision. It’s so much easier to see today what you couldn’t see yesterday. As you’re moving forward take time to assess your progress. You need to be able to measure your goals. If you’re not getting the results you need stop and rethink and reinvent yourself. Try to figure out what you can do differently to get the results you’re looking for. Do Something New!
“If you have a dream, don’t just sit there. Gather courage to believe that you can succeed and leave no stone unturned to make it a reality.”
