Live Intentionally

"If it’s not broken, don’t fix it."

If we all lived by this saying our world as we know it would be stagnant in every facet. We would still be walking for miles, riding on donkeys, bathing in the river, hunting for our next meal and cutting wood to keep us warm during the cold months.

Many people live every day in a complete regiment, allowing their lives to run on auto pilot, instead of intentionally engaging their routines. Continuing to let your life run on auto pilot will lead you to many lost opportunities, and at times may even take you off course to a destination you had never intended to be. In the words of Benjamin Franklin “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”

Being intentional requires using some extra “elbow grease”. At times it may seem much easier to leave your life to chance and not bother doing all the work. That is not a good idea!

Steve Jobs as we know revolutionized six industries; personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing and digital publishing. Steve left a legacy because he lived intentionally.

"The biggest room in the world is the room for improvement." This is a saying I hold close and true to my heart. From time to time throughout each year I stop and analyze my life to see what I can do differently to be a better mother, wife, educator, author, friend and Christian. For you to live intentionally you must continually access your actions, your motives and your beliefs. You have to be intentional on a day to day basis. This will allow “you” to become a “better you”. So dig deep and take time to learn more about yourself. Connect with your spiritual, mental, emotional and physical being.

Don’t gamble your life away…leave nothing to chance…LIVE INTENTIONALLY!
